Block 37 at State andRandolph streets in Chicago has been a project in process for many years.  It is now nearing completion, and we were called in to do the baseboard heating for the Penthouse Elevator. 

The heaters had to fit between the bays, and some of the bays had some extra structure between the columns.  This squeezed the mounting of the baseboard.

Ouellet's ODB Series being 2.5" wide was a good solution.  The baseboard will be producing 250 watts a linear foot at 277vac.  The ODB series is available in any wattage from 100˜250 watts a linear foot.      

Getting the  heaters up to this level was difficult, and once the scaffolding has been removed, it will be hard to access them, so the installation had to be precise and the equipment reliable.
